The DSE regulations apply to anyone whose work involves regular use of display screen equipment and government guidance is that employers must provide health and safety training and information for DSE users.

Learning objectives

You will be able to:

  • Explain the definition of DSE and who can be identified as a DSE user
  • Identify health risks from improper DSE use
  • Be able to conduct a self-DSE risk assessment using the DSE checklist provided
